Someone like me

Looking into the mirror
what do you see
A face of grace
or a face of grief

Looking into the mirror

what do you see
A bed of roses
or a bed of thorns

when she glances into the mirror,

considers herself fat,
And the bills for diet pills
keep on piling up

A girl so hideous,

touches up her makeup,
she sees undeserving,
reclaiming the blame
so she hides her
connection to any affection

When he catches a sight of himself,
he sees unwanted,
Allowing himself to go
through good look tips

He feels weak,
so he hides his feelings,
sealing them deep down.

Looking into the mirror,
your face tells:
you are not good enough
you are not smart
you are nobody
you are just not enough .

Look at yourself again,
with no pity And you will see,
your untold beauty
your magnetic smile,
your love unfading let yourself feel a light
living inside
your passion you hide,
is now seen.

A glass can break,
but your glory cannot, You are so much more than a glass whose value
is none.

Love from
The Silence
